We are standing outside the Vue cinema in Lancaster. It’s not that old, but it is already looking a bit tired. I once watched an entire film with a slight tear in the screen and, oddly, that is all I can remember about the film. How did the tear get there? Did someone throw something with enough force at the screen? How much force would that take? What sort of projectile would you use?
